The renewed auto-darkening cartridge utilizes ESAB's innovative OpTCS™ light control technology, which enables an improved True Color view and significantly reduces eye fatigue during demanding working days. Darkness adjustment works in 0.5 DIN steps, which offers the welder excellent control over his work view.

The auto-darkening filter has a viewing area of 118 x 71 mm (4.65 x 2.80 inches) and includes intuitive internal filter controls such as sensitivity and delay settings.
The darkness range covers DIN 3/5–13, and it is adjustable in 0.5 darkness steps, there is also a lock setting for the filter shade.
ESAB's OpTCS True Color lens technology guarantees excellent color accuracy, and the built-in memory can store up to 9 settings.
The filter has 4 arc sensors and switches on quickly in 0.08 milliseconds. The compact CR 2450 battery can be easily replaced and also has a battery charge warning light, a grinding mode indicator and a shade lock indicator.
